The big news this week is the Australian baseball player that was killed by three teenaged boys that were bored and decided that throwing their lives away would be a good way to get the ole heart rate up.   I have some real problems with the way this story is getting covered in the news.   But, before I get to that, I was pretty shocked that they actually succeeded.   People that fucking dumb don’t usually accomplish a goal, no matter how nefarious.   I mean, seriously, one of them posted online that it was time to take some “life’s”.   Not only does he not know the plural of “life”, what the fuck was the apostrophe for? What happened to the news? I remember the days when my parents would take over the TV and force me to either go outside and play or suffer the torture of watching something on TV that was actually informative. That show that they used to watch was called “the news”. The show would tell you about stuff that was actually going on in other places. It would often say what it meant to us back home. I couldn’t stand that boring ass shit. It took some time, but after a fine liberal arts education, I began to enjoy informative programming that had no butt kickings and only the slightest amounts cleavage.
